Boomity Features (Widgets, Badges, Home Tab)

We are thrilled to announce three new features this week. We encourate you to try them on your groups and feel free to contact support if you need any pointers.

1. Group Widgets

You many now place any industry standard widget within your group pages. Just go into the Control Panel and select manage widgets. Once published you will see this on your group pages. (You will notice a widget on the page you are currently reading). Below is an example of a fund raiser widget.

2. Group Badge

On your main overview tab, you will now see a "badge" on the bottom right hand side of the page. This can be "grabbed" by any user and placed on thier website or blog. This is a great way to introduce your group to others across the web. Below is a sample badge.

3. Group Homepages

Every group that is set up with "Premium Tools" will have the ability to customize it's own homepage. By placing HTML on this page, you may communicate more clearly your group's focus.

3. All very exciting. I know we are soon to have Discussions, Documents and something called the Social Dashboard.
